For the fifth year in a row, The Jewel Box at Mount Faber will be transformed into a magical wonderland lined with dazzling lights.

As out-of-this-world as it may sound, the ancient 16 meter angsana tree isn"t spared from the bright decorations, being turned into the ‘Diamond Winter Tree.' Visitors will also be treated to a snow show which promises to be equally pleasing to the eye.

However, the main attraction has to be the Christmas tree. The 61 meter-high tower includes 120,000 energy-saving LED lights and 180,000 meters of cable, allowing it to dramatically light up the night time skyline.

The Jewel Christmas Musical Light & 'Snow' Show 2009 kicked off on Nov 6, 2009 and will be playing until Jan 6, 2010.


getting there

The Jewel Box will be providing a shuttle service called the Santa Bus which pick up passengers from International Plaza on weekdays at 7pm. On weekends and public holidays, passengers can board the bus at Pasir Ris MRT Station at 7pm or catch it at the Vivocity bus stop from 7 -10pm in 45 minute intervals.
